GithubRemark: Enhance Your Github Social Experience
GithubRemark is a Chrome extension that aims to improve the social capabilities of Github. While Github provides name and username information, it lacks the functionality of adding remarks, similar to what we see on messaging platforms like WeChat. This missing feature hampers effective communication and interaction among the growing community of Github users, especially those who are part of the anime and manga culture.
With GithubRemark, you can now add remarks to your Github friends, making it easier to remember and connect with them. To use the extension, simply click on the icon and enable the feature. Once activated, you will see "(no remark)" next to the original username, where you can double-click to add or edit remarks. This functionality is available on various pages, including the homepage, star, follows, following pages, as well as stargazers and watchers pages of projects.
Please note that you need to be logged into your Github account to use the extension, as it uses your Github username as a unique identifier. The extension does not allow modifying other users' remarks to ensure privacy and prevent unauthorized access to personal information.
